Google Is Redesigning The “At A Glance” Widget
Google keeps on doing experiments every day to give updates, and previously, the information revealed that Google is about to do some pretty cool stuff to make the big bang for At a Glance widgets. Also, we expected that it would offer the facility to customize At a Glance widget. Before this, Google redesigns a big Material You.
Now Google will offer the latest redesign for At a Glance widget to the users, in which the company will offer the ability to customize At a Glance widget. The users will appear in three unique styles in a new At a Glance widget. The background options offered to the users are Solid, Semi-transparent, and the last one is fully transparent.
In the redesign, the first pattern is Solid, which means that the Pill shaped rectangle will appear in white, and whatever is written inside it will be in black; the second option is Semi-Transparent, which allows the user’s wallpaper to come out slightly through the pill shade container. And the last pattern is fully Transparent, in which a thin black outline will appear at the border of the pill-shaped container.
These options are quite similar to the Google Search bar widgets customization today. It also includes shapes, logos, and transparency as well.
The other change being shown compared to the previous version is that the overflow menu can be vertically centered. Now the brand is also improving in At a Glance setting sheet, the thumbs up, and a down system for the “Current content. The users can customize the feature and edit style at their convenience.
