OnePlus Is Recruiting OxygenOS 14 Closed Beta Testers For OnePlus 11
Last week, we were exclusively confirmed that the OxygenOS 14 beta build based on Android 14 will begin in August for OnePlus 11 users. And now, the company is rolling out the first Closed Beta build of OxygenOS 14 for the OnePlus 11.
Since this is the first publicly available Closed beta, it will have a lot of bugs and issues, so definitely avoid installing it on your main device. However, if you have a spare OnePlus 11 for testing purposes, you can install OxygenOS 14 Closed Beta 1 by following the source instructions below.
According to a new post on the OnePlus Community page, the Android 14-based OxygenOS 14 CBT program is open to 500 OnePlus 11 users in India. Through the initiative, users in the country can experience OnePlus’ next custom skin firsthand and submit feedback and bug reports to improve its software experience. If past updates are any indication, the Chinese tech giant will announce an open beta program followed by a stable release once the closed beta test program is complete.
In addition, active OnePlus community members can join the program, and participants must follow a series of guidelines before being accepted. The short-term program may result in data loss from OnePlus 11 devices, and participants are advised to save all their files at all times. Notably, currently, some third-party apps are not compatible with Android 14.
All eligible OnePlus 11 participants must communicate with OnePlus staff regularly by reporting issues and suggestions. This will happen through Telegram. Interested OnePlus 11 owners in India can visit this link to apply for the program. But make sure your phone has been updated to the detectable version, such as CPH2447_13.1.0.580(EX01) and CPH2447_13.1.0.590(EX01).
