WhatsApp Will Soon Get Email Verification & New Call Interface
WhatsApp is testing new changes and features every day to enhance the convenience of the users. If the news is to be believed, WhatsApp is testing its two new features; in which one of them is related to email addresses for account verification, helps the users in providing more security, whereas the second is for redesigning call notifications.
WhatsApp always gives its best to users to enhance the security and privacy of their accounts. Firstly it offered two-factor authentication to avoid unwanted troubles like scams and hacks. But apart from this, the company is preparing additional security facilities for the users.
In today’s situation, the most important phone number is the most important for the WhatsApp account; if the phone goes out of access, then the possibility account is in danger, but to avoid this problem, the company is now adding email verification to it.
This new email verification option is spotted with its own identification build number of the v2.23.16.15 version. However, this new feature is still in its developing stage. One of the main aims of this new change is that if users want to open their WhatsApp account on another device without even using their phone number, then email verification can be useful, and they do not have to face any kind of trouble.
On the other hand, the second new change the company is preparing for is a new interface for call notifications. This new change is spotted with the identification build number 2.23.16.14 version update.
In this new calling interface, the users will get to see an interface in which the caller’s name will appear below the app’s name. For decline, the red button is available with the decline icon and for receiving, the green button with its icon. Users can change the colours according to their theme. This will enhance the user’s calling experience.
Moreover, both of the changes are in the developing stage and are only available for beta users. Also, it is expected that it will soon be available for everyone.
