Google Disclose Calendar Material You Widget Update

Google has rolled out an amazing and interesting redesigned Material You widget for Calendar on the home screen. Now the users will get a more modern and stylish look with color themes. This latest facility provided by Google not only provides an attractive look but also simplifies the way to perform functions for users. In this article, let’s discuss this latest Calendar Material You widget.

However, there is no change in the size of the Calendar widget on the home screen, but with this update, the eternal management, such as the app bar and many more functions, got quite changed.

The app bar, which shows Day, Date, and Month, has been removed from the calendar widget. But the users will still appear the day and date at the top left side, similar to the previous version but this time without a bar. The next change concerns standalone plus signs, which appear on the right side at the top and get replaced with a FAB, which is quite common in numerous Material You widgets.

In the last version, the date and time appear quite small, but now it is much larger in size with 2 x 2. The light or dark background is also replaced with a Dynamic Color theme so that the users can set any color theme on their Calendar widget as per their choice. It also includes visual changes and many more.

Apart from all this, Calendar month view widget also gets updated with a themed background, which will appear more attractive and enhance the user’s widget experience. In the calendarIn the calendar month view, the FAB is placed at the top right side.

Google rolled out this latest Calendar Material You widget update with its identification build number, version 2023.30.0.x. This update will enhance the experience and provide a more stylish and modern look.
