OnePlus Watch 2 Launched in India, Featuring Sapphire Crystal, Snapdragon Chipset, and More
In India, OnePlus unveiled its next wearable, the OnePlus Watch 2. It’s considered to be the most advanced watch from the brand. The brand has raised the curtain on its latest wearable, the OnePlus Watch 2, at the MWC 2024 event held in Barcelona, Spain. The all-new Watch 2 has entered the Indian market with some bang-on features and functionalities. Here are all the details that you must be aware of.
The OnePlus showcased its first wearable a few years ago in 2021, but it was a total failure and was not up to the mark that has disappointed users to a certain extent. With that, the brand introduced an all-new feature-loaded wearable, the Watch 2, which is its 2nd generation watch, while also claiming that they made some significant changes with the OnePlus Watch 2.
OnePlus Watch 2: Price and Availability
The latest OnePlus Watch 2 is now available with a price tag of Rs. 24,999 in only a single variant. Simultaneously, as a part of the launch introductory offer, consumers can avail of an instant discount of Rs. 2,000 on their Watch 2 purchases if they have an ICICI bank or OneCard, respectively. Other discounts and offers include no-cost EMI on Watch 2 for up to 12 months with some primary banks only, which is only available from March 4th to March 10th, while 6-month EMI is available from March 11th to March 31st, respectively. Do note that pre-orders for the OnePlus Watch 2 have already started in Europe and North America.
In the meantime, OnePlus has revealed that along with the newest Watch 2, the first three customers will receive the OnePlus Keyboard 81 Pro absolutely free while purchasing the watch through the OnePlus’ website or OnePlus Store App.
OnePlus Watch 2: Specifications and Features
With regards to the specifications, the new OnePlus Watch 2 features a 1.43-inch AMOLED display screen with a 60Hz refresh rate and 1000nits of peak brightness. A 2.5D sapphire crystal guards the display, making the screen fully scratch-resistant. With the inclusion of the dual-engine architecture, the Watch 2 is being incorporated with the Snapdragon W5 chipset along with the BES2700 chip, which offers up to 2GB of RAM and up to 32GB of internal storage. The watch is packed with 500mAh battery power and 7.5W VOOC fast charging support that offers up to 12 days of battery life.
Coming with an IP68 and a 5ATM water-resistant rating, the newest Watch 2 significantly allows you to use it while doing certain water activities like swimming without having to worry. Simultaneously, the watch runs on the Wear OS 3 operating system, which offers you the flexibility to use various applications, including Google Maps, Assistant, Google Calendar, and certain third-party applications as well.
The new OnePlus Watch 2 features over 100 sports modes, including badminton, cycling, cricket, football, tennis, volleyball, running, skiing, and more. The watch seamlessly allows you to track all your health and fitness activities through the OHealth app. With that, the watch even sports several health features that consist of a sleep tracker, calorie burnt, step count, SpO2 monitoring, heart rate monitoring, and much more.
